These diaper service quality diapers are made of 100% cotton gauze that is soft, durable and highly absorbant. Made from bleached Chinese cotton, they feature a 4x6x4 layer design for maximum protection. These diapers are perfect for customer that prefer less quilting than Indian prefolds.

All diapers should be washed before using so that diapers fluff up and acheive optimal softness and absorbency. Expect a 5 to 10% shrinkage after these initial washings.

I originally purchased these diapers to use as prefolds with diaper covers for my newborn but found they were not as absorbent as I had hoped they would be. I doubled them up and put two diapers under the diaper cover, and that worked pretty well, although there were still some leaks. I ended up getting the larger size (regular as opposed to infant), which worked a lot better. Now, I use these diapers as burp cloths, and they are perfect for that purpose. I've had them for over four months now, and they are still in excellent condition.

I bought these along with some organic gerber burp clothes for my new baby. These are so much nicer, thicker and don't unravel like the gerber ones. If you plan on washing and using your cloth diapers a lot, these are the way to go.
