Sunshine Kids 2011 Monterey Booster - shoulder Seat Belt Guides style?

I understand that the Sunshine Kids Monterey booster has been updated to the new Diono Monterey booster, and that there were a couple of design changes, specifically to the style/placement of the shoulder seatbelt guides. Does this 2011 Sunshine Kids booster have the newer Diono-style or the older Sunshine Kids-style of seatbelt guides? The newer style is farther back on the headrest, while the older style is more to the sides of the headrest. Thanks!

Does the Diono Monterey convert to backless easily? And the reverse?

We want to be able to use the back on long trips and when she might sleep, but take it off for general riding around town (like a big girl). This means converting fairly frequently, so we'd like to know how big of a PITA that will be. Thanks.
