What is the waterproof layer made of?

I know it's PVC free, but I also want to make sure it's not made with Olefin, which is another chemical compound used in PVC free waterproof crib pads.

According to NaturePedic, their organic waterproof crib pads contain NO Vinyl / PVC, NO Phthalates, and NO Latex (for allergy concerns). For more specific manufacturing content, you may contact NaturePedic directly at 1-800-91-PEDIC.

Also according to NaturePedic, on their website, their waterproof pads contain "Food-Grade Polyethylene". The site also states "Polyethylene is an environmentally friendly plastic that is used throughout the food packaging industry for its purity and non-toxic properties." http://www.naturepedic.com/education/whatsin.php
