Which parts of the gym are flame retardant? The playmat, hanging toys, or both?
I read (from a previous question) that some parts of the gym are flame retardant. I really like the gym, but don't want my baby crawling around on a mat that's been treated with flame retardants, or putting any of the toys in her mouth to chew or suck on. Is it even confirmed that parts of this gym are, in fact, treated with these agents? Please help me decide if this gym is right for my family? :)
We have contacted Skip Hop directly to get more information on the use of fire retardants in the Skip Hop Treetop Friends Activity Gym and we'll post more information as soon as we hear back from them.
Was this question ever answered?
BabyEarth, you mentioned you would follow up on this 3 months ago. What information did you recieve from SkipHop? Please post!! I'm concerned that the news is not good given the nonresponse. Thank you for the consideration.
