The ergonomic BABYBJÖRN Organic Comfort Carrier offers parents a comfortable way to travel with their growing child. It provides optimum support when carrying larger and older children for longer periods of time. The waist belt and padded shoulder straps adjust the weight evenly over both hips and shoulders. The child’s leg position can be adjusted, offering extra comfort, and as with all BABYBJÖRN baby carriers, the child can be carried facing either inwards or outwards. The BABYBJÖRN Comfort Carrier is carefully designed in close cooperation with pediatricians, parents and children to ensure the utmost in safety while leaving your hands free to do other things.
All material used for the carrier and the bib is 100% certified organically grown cotton. It's guaranteed free from harmful substances and also complies with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Class 1 for baby products.
You can use the BabyBjörn Comfort Carrier for newborns (minimum 13 lbs, with the safety strap fastened) as well as older babies up to 2 years old or 31 lds. Please Note: Maximum weight facing outwards is 26 lbs.

I already own the Baby Bjorn Original Carrier, but my son at 21 lbs was getting a little big for it. I found the Original carrier really easy to use and ergonomic; and since I want to keep using a carrier for a while, I looked for carriers that accommodate a heavier baby.
The Comfort Carrier can be used up until your baby is 2 years old. After trying it out this past weekend, it is much more comfortable than the Original Carrier was. Once my son got to about 17lbs, my upper back would ache after long periods using the Original, but I used the Comfort for over an hour of walking around and errands a couple of times, and my back feels fine.
If we had another baby, I would probably just use the Comfort exclusively rather than start out with the Original.
this updated model is much more comfortable for baby and for me. she prefers it strongly to our ergo. i love that I can put it on easily myself (whereas the ergo is tough to do alone). love the breathable mesh between me and baby.
We recently bought the Organic Comfort Carrier for our 4 months old. He is pretty heavy/big for his age and my back was hurting so much. We have the infant carrier (also from Bjorn) with which I carried my baby's weight on my shoulders and kept having headaches. With the Comfort Carrier the weight lays primarily on the hips and is much better for me. My son likes it a lot too and we'll be able to use it for a very long time.
Have been using this carrier for about 6 months and love it! It is so easy to get off and on and works well for both my husband and I. So easy to use for grocery shopping, traveling, walking around town, and helping baby wind down at night. Our 9-month-old already weighs 25 lbs. and I've never experienced discomfort wearing the Baby Bjorn Comfort carrier because it distributes the baby's weight to your hips and away from shoulders. And our baby loves being in his carrier. The only downside is that it doesn't offer an option for back or hip carries. But well worth the money!
