When it's cold and wet out, the BabyBjörn Baby Carrier Cover keeps baby snug and dry. The cover is made of a soft and cuddly fleece fabric that is wind and watertight, but breathable.

It features a protective, removable hood that is also reversible, allowing you to carry baby facing forward or toward you. The cover fits all BabyBjörn Baby Carriers and can be left in place on the carrier when you take the baby out. Cover can also be used as a cover or blanket for car seats and baby carriages.

The cover is not super thick, but would keep a baby warm on a cool fall or winter day. Definitely not for use during a very cold winter day. Older babies who like to use their hands may not appreciate having them strapped in an confined inside the cover. Great idea for a quick walk when you want to keep baby warm and would probably work great for people who live in the city and walk a lot as opposed to hopping in and out of cars. At $35, I would think twice about buying it again. If it were only $20, I'd be sold.
