Baby Bjorn Cover for Baby Carrier

We were a little hesitant to take our three week old out in the New England winter weather, but on the milder days (30 to 40 degrees), we'll bundle her up and tuck her in the baby bjorn with the snuggly cover, and she stays happy and warm. Overall, I say this is a "great!" product because all the pieces (carrier, cover) work so well, great for really little babies, and are easy to adjust and manipulate. I might wish that there were some thicker weight options for the cover, so that the baby bundling could be more minimal and the cover more hefty, but I am pretty happy with the solution as is!

The Baby Bjorn cover has liberated me from the house during the dreary days of winter. I take my six week old out to walk the dog, and even in the cold of Chicago, he stays cozy and warm. It's fabulous.

i use it every day to walk my dog with 5 months old baby. it keeps baby warm, material is good. Well worth the money spent. !!

...and also very easy to put on. Put holes located at top of unit over shoulder straps of Baby Bjorn carrier and then attach straps as usual. Once on, pull bottom elastic down to tuck child's feet in. Pull unit top elastic over front top of carrier and pull hood over as needed for wind or rain cover or sleep. All of this can be done with one hand. Walking two dogs, three times a day with a baby...could never have lived without this cover she has never caught a cold from exposure even in cold and wet weater using the Baby Bjorn and this cover) and my Baby Bjorn. Other carriers including popular soft structures have no inclement weather solution and require two hands for any minor adjustment. Definitely worth every penny.

Great idea but I found it a bit cumbersome to get the cover on with the baby in the carrier. The cover is not super thick, but would keep a baby warm on a cool fall or winter day. Definitely not for use during a very cold winter day. Older babies who like to use their hands may not appreciate having them strapped in an confined inside the cover. Great idea for a quick walk when you want to keep baby warm and would probably work great for people who live in the city and walk a lot as opposed to hopping in and out of cars. At $35, I would think twice about buying it again. If it were only $20, I'd be sold.
