It has little flaps that kind of put pressure on the toilet seat, to hold it in place, but if sat on wrong on the front it can flip up behind the toddler. But once the child is sitting in it, the seat isnt going to slide off or go anywhere! I do like the easy clean design and versatility for boy or girl. I do recommend this seat, just know that it may not be super 'secure'.

Submitted By: Mommy in Texas from Houston, TX   Date: 04/02/2008 This trainer fits perfectly on our elongated toilet--it's adjustable so I think it'll fit other types too. Once it's in, it's secured. Then it's also very easy to take out. I like the simple plastic design, so that it's very easy to clean by rinsing it. My 11 month old daughter sits securely on it (with me holding her because she's still young)) and enjoys it very much. She was using the Baby Bjorn Little Potty prior to this, and now she uses both. She seems to like this toilet trainer because it makes her feel like a big girl. The design is such that it'll still fit a bigger toddler. It could have been nice if there's a handle to the trainer, but overall I'm very happy with it. In fact, I'm very happy with all the Baby Bjorn purchases I've made.
