Simone from New York, NY June 25th, 2010 I have a slight addiction to strollers. This is my fourth one, and I LOVE IT!!! I have a Bugaboo, Maclaren, Inglesina, and now the City Mini. I tested this stroller out in the store after the others were already bought and decided I had to have it. The fold is what sold me. It's so easy!!! I ordered it, set it up in 5 minutes, and took my son for a stroll. He loves it also. He just sat back and enjoyed the smooth ride. He's the kind of baby that loves to be worn or held. I have since sold my Maclaren and Inglesina. I have no use for them since I have the City Mini. I'm even considering selling my Bugaboo, but I love it too much-although I honestly believe the CIty Mini is the only stroller I'll need. The only con I have is that the rain cover should be included and not sold as an accesory. All the strollers I've bought includes them!

Gen June 24th, 2010 My husband and I purchased this stroller in black for our baby. We searched the usual big box stores and could not commit to any particular stroller we saw, because everything seemed unimpressive and bulky. We loved this stroller when we saw it in a boutique type of store and decided that we would order it online. It turns well, is easy to fold and unfold and not bulky and cumbersome like most other comparable strollers. Although we have not used this with baby yet, since she is not yet here, we're sure that we won't be disappointed. The basket for the 2010 version is much better and accessible than the 2009 version we saw in the store. All in all good value for the money and the stroller is very sleek!

Allison from Indy June 22nd, 2010 Love it, but have an issue with my daughter sitting upright. She slouches in it and would rather sit up more. She's 10 months now so the older the better probably. Loved it for infant carrier though! Also have the cup holder and the front console. Must have! She's still too short for the console (she's tall for her age too)...I wish it could move down a notch b/c she likes having it there.
Oh, another thing, wish I could extend the handle a bit. We are tall. But, it has been the best one for us for price, etc. I jog with it at times too and it does the job. Not a huge runner, great for walk/runnning.
Awesome for sleeping and BIG points for having a super huge sun shade. That's the best part. So easy to lug around...light and very durable.
I have the tan and it's great for neutral color. I almost got the black but figured in the sunshine it would be hot. The tan is more like light grayish color.
Very happy with it despite the things I wished it had/did.

Lorie from Cilmax, NC May 5th, 2010 The baby jogger is a really cool stroller and I loved the way it handled. The only 2 problems I had were two very big things on the list for me: 1) it claims to be a One handed and it IS amazing..EXCEPT what you dont' see in the videos or what is not in the description is that once you go to fold or unfodl the stroller you have to snap in the handle on both sides for safety issues - which is VERY hard to do - and impossibel with one hand; and 2) you can NOT hang a diaper bag from the bag, it will tip over. Because of both of these things, I returned the stoller and ended up with the Inglesina Zippy.

Danielle April 26th, 2010 I absolutely love this stroller. Wish we had bought it sooner! I was sold on the fold design. We are traveling to disney for a week and wanted a lighter stroller for the plane, buses, etc. ONLY downside is no adult cupholder (spent the $30 for the one that attaches.. don't love it) and we have trouble getting stuff in and out of the basket when our son is sitting in it (and he is tiny for 9 months).. HIGHLY recommended!!

mrosefuller from CA April 18th, 2010 We had the Chicco Cortina along with the Keyfit 30 infant car seat as a travel system for our daughter's first year. After she outgrew the car seat and the stroller, we went searching for something smaller and lighter. I followed previous reviews for the The Baby Jogger City Mini Stroller and found them to be true. As others have said, the best feature is that at 17 lbs. it can be folded in half with one hand while you're holding your little one in your other arm. I think my daughter enjoys the upright position, and the canopy is fantastic! It fits in the trunk of my Honda Accord with ease. The orange and gray color scheme is fun yet subdued. We did not purchase the accessories' I choose to place the diaper bag and other goodies in the ample storage at the bottom.

Vanessa from Seattle March 30th, 2010 This stroller is great. It is realitvely light, it folds like a dream, handles like an Audi, and you can use it from the time your child is a newborn. I love all those things about it.
It only has one downside, the front wheel comes off. This is a feature of the stroller (although, i'm not sure why) but as my husband says "if you look at the wheel wrong it comes flying off."
Last week I went to walk around Greenlake (3 mile walk) with my son only to discover when I got out of the car that I had left the front wheel at home. Very frustrating. Also a little worrisome when traveling. We gate checked our stroller at the airport and crossed our fingers.
This sounds like a major flaw, doesn't it? You are probably asking yourself, "How could she still give the stroller 4 stars?" Because it is just that good otherwise.

new mom February 6th, 2010 I love this stroller! It is easy to fold, to handle with one hand, and to run for small steps.
Only the problem is the storage under the seat.... It is hard to put in and out the stuff. That's the reason for 4 star.

Lil Mama's Big Mama from Brooklyn, NY January 22nd, 2010 During my daughter’s first two years on this earth we owned 7 strollers. 7!
The BEST stroller that we purchased was the City Mini. We live in NYC and frequently take public transportation. Getting on the bus was practically hassle free (even with a sleeping) baby because of the one handed fold. Additionally, traveling on the subway was easy for me and the stroller kept her comfortable. The incline is incredible. My only complaint is that the basket isn’t large enough for my shopping trips but that hasn’t stopped me from purchasing one for my sister-n-law and one for my friend.

KT from Seattle, WA November 28th, 2009 If this stroller had been out when my son was born, we would have skipped the travel system we purchased and done this separate of the infant car seat. I bought this for an extended trip with my 18-month-old son and have been so happy with its performance, durability and accessibility. It's gone on and off planes, all over museums, through gardens and around shopping malls. It strolls like a dream and is the perfect height for both my husband, who's over 6' tall, and myself, who's just 5'5". If you're looking for a sturdy, lightweight stroller that's good for around town or travel, this is the one!

Nicole from PA November 24th, 2009 You state:
Patented Quick-Fold Would you expect any less from the company that invented the original jogging stroller? Our patented Quick-Fold technology is the easiest one-step folding process in the world. No other stroller folds as quickly or easily, hands down. Others may fold in a few simple steps - but only Baby Jogger's Quick-Fold technology allows our strollers to fold with the simple lift of a strap.
This is NOT true! Its not a one step folding process. its a 3 step folding process. You must unsnap 2 safety straps before lifting the strap and folding the stroller. And its a huge pain! I bought the stroller because of this "patented quick fold technology" but I feel like I got duped.

Allison November 12th, 2009 Love it! Have the cream/gray one. So great...looks better in person. So easy to use. Light weight. Have the snugride Graco carseat and the attachment for it and it is perfect.
Works great on rough riding if needed...short runs, but mostly for walks.

cj October 13th, 2009 The babyjogger city mini is perfect for our needs of a lightweight stroller. We keep it in our car for quick and easy use when shopping, dining, or just running errands.
We also do have a more "heavy duty" Mutsy 4rider stroller (which we also love) that we keep at home for walking around the neighborhood.
The quick fold on the city mini is as easy as advertised. The only "catch" that is not mentioned is that you need to un-snap 2 straps at the bottom before folding or re-snap the same 2 straps when opening the stroller. However, this step is fairly simple.
I ordered this stroller in mid-September and did receive one manufactured after the recall issue date.

Sarah from St. Joseph, MI October 12th, 2009 I LOVE THIS STROLLER! When I found out I was pregnant, my husband and I did a lot of research on strollers. We were very frustrated with the resources available to help us make an informed decision. I knew I didn't want the typical TOP-heavy stroller/car seat combo. We live near a beach in MI - so we have a lot of different weather to deal with. I also didn't want to struggle getting the stroller in and out of our vehicle. We stumbled across this stroller on accident in a store and knew it was the perfect one immediately. The "Pull to Close" strap in the seat makes for easy loading and unloading and you can NOT beat the weight - approx. 16lbs!!! One other bonus - the shade can almost completely protect baby from the sun. We also purchased the conversion bar to go with a Graco car seat so baby can see us while walking. LOVE THIS STROLLER!!!

JESSICA September 3rd, 2009 This stroller is a great stroller. However, there was a recent recall due to defective buckles. I ordered my City Mini AFTER the recall, yet I was still shipped a defective stroller. The corrected strollers were manufactured on or after February 8, 2009. The stroller I received was manufactured on January 10, 2009.
Long story short, CHECK THE MANUFACTURE DATE, EVEN IF YOU WERE TOLD YOU WOULD RECEIVE THE CORRECTED VERSION!

Kristi from Orlando FL June 10th, 2009 I received my citi mini one week ago and I am very happy with it. I have been through many strollers for my now 2 year old, and this is by far the best. It has all the major features that I look for in a stroller. It is compact like an umbrella, but not flimsy. The handle is high enough that you are not bending over to push (even high enough for my husband). It reclines almost completely for great naps on the go. The shade is best i've seen with a third segment which prevents the sun from getting in the eyes. It steers beautifully for a true one hand push and steer. Folds easily flat and light enough to carry and lift easily into an SUV. It came almost fully assembled, just snap the wheels in and it was ready. We travel a lot, especially in Europe, and I think this stroller will handle the uneven terrain easily. And, on top of all of that, it is one of the best looking strollers on the market (I got the green). The only thing that I would change is that the rubber on the handle bar causes a bit of friction on my hands after pushing for longer distances.

Erin from Atlanta May 21st, 2009 Our City Mini arrived today and I was able to assemble within fifteen minutes (without the hubby!!). The hardest part was getting the crotch and shoulder straps the right length for my son...which is hard on ANY child gear. My son is 6 months and already seems to LOVE this stroller. He especially likes being able to see Mommy when he peeks through the mesh backing in the recline mode. I'm looking forward to finally having a GREAT, functional stroller.

J. Swan from Washington, DC May 13th, 2009 We are a Metro family. Both my wife and I use the Metrorail system to commute to work, take our little one to day care, and for most anything else we do. The City Mini has made all of that so much easy. Even with bags full of work related materials in our hands, the stroller is a breeze to navigate with one hand. It handles nearly all urban terrain with ease. And folding it up at the end of the day is simple and compact.
If we had to come up with a complaint it would be the tiny basket under the stroller. Diaper bags, especially larger messenger bag-style bags, can be a challenge. But that is very minor - we always make it work.
Love the stroller!

Laura C-S May 7th, 2009 We have discovered that baby gear is just like anything else, you get what you pay for. We have a travel system that was $200 and it gets the job done, but it is a struggle. This Baby Jogger is fantastic all-around. I am able to close it up while carrying my 10 month old on a hip. And it is incredibly lightweight and easy to open. I think that the carseat and Snap and Go stroller are good for the first three months and then, this next stroller is what you need. When you are post pardum and feeling tired and sore, it is so nice to flip open a stroller and just lift a handle and fold it up nicely.

Lisa Haisha from Sherman Oaks, CA February 24th, 2009 This stroller is light and so easy to fold and put in the car. It is everything it advertises to be. I'm a first-time mom and this has made my life much easier.

Lisa from Los Altos, CA February 20th, 2009 I am a Peg Perego gal, but not anymore. It's been put in the garage and Baby Jogger is my new best friend. LOL. I absolutely love this stroller and take it with me everywhere! It's easy to put in my Toyota Corolla trunk, compacts instantly, turns on a dime, and my 7 year old has told me a handful of times how much she loves it, too! It's super easy to steer, even my 7 year old daughter pushes the 35 lb two-year old with no problems! Worth the money!

RFH from Lafayette, CA October 21st, 2008 Love, love, LOVE this stroller! Both my husband and I have really enjoyed using it - handles very well, it's a comfortable ride for our 11 month old, and the quick-fold technology is amazing. Very high quality, and is such a smooth ride I can drive it with one hand while sipping my coffee with the other. Highly recommend it.

DJ from Takoma Park, Maryland October 7th, 2008 This is a terrific stroller! I wanted one that was maneuverable and could handle the bumpy sidewalks of our neighborhood, and this fits the bill. It's really easy to push on our bumpy sidewalks, and my 2 year old loves to ride in it. Extremely easy to fold. While it handles very well and is easy to steer, it's not really one-handed steering if a 27 lb toddler is on board. Storage basket is pretty small and flimsy, so not good for heavy/bulky items. Not as small and light as a Maclaren, but better on bumpy terrain and a more fun ride for the passenger. Great full recline. A great value.

Jake Olson from Adana, Turkey July 13th, 2008 We absolutely love this stroller. We live in Turkey and the sidewalks and streets are very uneven and bumpy. We wanted a stroller that would make it fun to leave the house and go for a walk. We've been incredibly happy with it and wish it were available in the Turkish market so we could recommend it to our friends. It's very compact for traveling. Our baby loves it too. We highly recommend it.

Martin April 7th, 2008 This is a great stroller! We are using it as our one and only all purpose stroller and it's awesome. It handles very well and turns easily. It folds so easily with one hand makes life so much nicer. Also, it's very easy to store in your trunk whether you have a car, truck, or mini-van. Great product, we highly recommend it!
