We have four small children and I always used these cross-tie shirts while they were newborns. Nothing will aggitate/scare a small baby more than trying to pull a tighly fitted fabric over her head. These are ideal as a design. But this kimono in particular is the BEST I have ever purchased. The fabric is soft and cozy and it's not too light and not too heavy. Soybaby is one of the best quality baby clothing producer I have ever purchased, not to mention the cutest. The fabric REALLY holds up under washing and wearing; even stain removing.

And the little matching pants are just adorable!!! :)
