Bode Miller Welcomes New Baby Boy 4 Months After Toddler Drowning

Their special delivery was complete with comfort and healing.

Overwhelmed with emotions, Bode and Morgan Miller welcomed a baby boy into their family this past weekend. His arrival comes four months after losing their daughter, Emeline, who would have been 2-years-old in just one month. Although he has no name yet, this little one has proven to be a true bundle-of-joy.

"While nothing will ever replace the feeling of aching arms to hold Emmy again, this baby provided something new this day: joy, inspiration and hope," Midwife Lindsey Meehleis tells TODAY.

While visiting a neighbor, their daughter drowned in a pool and passed away on June 9. Since their daughters death, the couple has found comfort in bringing awareness to childhood drowning and the importance of prevention.

"There's not a day that goes by that I don't pray for the opportunity to go back to that day and make it different, but now we have this opportunity to make other parents' days different,'' Morgan told TODAY in July.
