Top 10 Eco-Friendly Companies

One research project compiled a list that rates companies on sustainability.

Better World Shopper has compiled an extensive review of companies, analyzing their eco-friendliness. The ratings are based on human rights, environmental consideration, animal protection, community involvement, and social justice. This research project is for consumers who are concerned about sustainability and social justice.

According to the website, their database has thoroughly analyzed the top ten companies in sustainability. This database organizes and analyzes data about the companies and then grades them.

The top ten companies are New Belgium Brewing, Seventh Generation, Organic Valley, Patagonia, Alter Ego, Dr. Bronner's All-One!, Method, Equal Exchange, Traditional Medicinals, and Ecover.

The companies are graded A through F, in report-card style. Companies graded A lead in sustainability; F grades indicate the worst environmental, ethical, and community standards. Click here for the full list and a description of the research process.
