Ruud2000 August 6th, 2011 The price for this year compared to the quality is really bad, within no time the seat cover gets so dirty, but the problem is you cannot wash it. Even wiping it down doesn't really help. To make it worse, it started to fall apart, so we got a friend to help us sow a proper seat that can be washed.
It is very hard to handle, the feet rest broke, the screws are rusting and I could on.
Just do not buy this....
AnnafromNYC, NY November 16th, 2010 Assembling this chair was one of the most frustrating experience I've had. Instructions are really unclear, but what's worse is that half through assembly bottom strap seems now stuck so I can't either pull it out or push all the way in.
D.W. May 5th, 2010 I ordered this chair because it looked really cool. The chair is well packed, there's a lot of packing materials to make sure nothing gets damaged. The environmentally conscious may faint at the sight of all the wasted cardboard though. For the price I paid for the chair, honestly, I expected it to be much higher quality. It was easy to assemble, with only one thumb screw to tighten, which is the problem. The whole chair feels a little loose and creaky. There is a lot of play in the joints that don't have a screw. Also, the lever for the recline is very tight and require a powerful grip to operate. My wife tried to recline the chair but couldn't. She tried every which way, even with two hands and still can't get enough force to depress the lever. I guess she'll need to wait until I get home everyday to adjust the chair!
momin_chicago February 17th, 2010 This high chair is terrible. I can't believe we paid $400 for this piece of junk. First of all, it's such a pain to clean. Secondly, our chair broke and now if my daughter kicks her legs at all, the parts around the side come apart. It's so dangerous because her fingers could get caught in the section that opens up. We are buying a new (and cheaper) high chair this weekend and pitching this $400 piece of junk.
SharifromPA June 18th, 2009 We got this chair as a gift from our registry. We had only seen the chair online, but registered for it since it was the only one we could find that had adjustable height. We needed this feature since we have two dogs and didn't want them in the baby's face. So far our two month old is very happy when we put him in it as the infant seat, so he can recline & look around the kitchen. The only thing is we wish you could adjust the height more to go up higher online with our island. Overall we are happy with the chair, but it is quite expensive.
Valery June 12th, 2009 Have not used yet as the baby is not here for another 2 weeks, but everyone comments on this chair (all positive!). Kind of hard to put together though + pretty heavy. Will update with use.
Rubin family April 2nd, 2009 we did a lot of research on high chairs and we live in a smaller 2 BR Condo, so a functional product was what we were looking for. Our 3 month old son loves this chair- we use it more of an entertainment chair than a high chair to feed him in, as he likes to watch his videos in this chair. The wheels don't allow for easy rolling around the house, but at least there ARE wheels on the chair. The fact that this reclines and is adjustable both in height and also in seat positioning is a great addition to its overall functionality. We plan on using this chair for our many children to come in the future!
Rimefromlafayette, la January 19th, 2009 I have two girls 19 month and 6 month old.
since I bought this unbelievable chair, I try to use it for my little one but the oldest doesn't let me because she's so comfort when she set and doesn't want get down.
But the head area should be better than now I think it should have more cushion around the head.
I recommend this chair for every one
Anda fromLos Angeles CA August 28th, 2008 We bought the chair for our 4 mo right when he started eating solids and it's been a great help so far. I could not hold and feed him at the same time and now that issue is solved :) he's got plenty of room to play with a toy on the front tray too, when i sit him in to finish my job in the kitchen. He seem s to like it a lot. Never complained or opposed to sitting on this chair. It doesn't seem complicated to assemble or maneuver as i've read on some other reviews. The only thing i wish it had, were some little wheels on the base that could be locked on place, so i could move it easily when cleaning around.
Courtney M.fromChicago, IL April 27th, 2008 My husband recently purchased this high chair for our 7-month old and I hate it. It is very difficult to get my son in it and the tray is nearly impossible to get on and off. It is terrible, and the price is crazy. I much preferred my $50 chair that strapped to the kitchen chair.
Mother of 11 Month Old Twins December 30th, 2007 I have 11 month old twins. I recieved the hairchairs 1 week after I ordered them. We ordered a pink and blue one. When the twins were newborn we used the chair in new born mode which helped us a lot as we had to kids. We now use the highchairs normally but when my 25 month old nephew comes we take of the tray and put the hairchair to the table. I recommend this to all.
