Katina from Newport, RI April 21st, 2009 Necessity: You need a console. I am one who does not appreciate how all the upper-end stroller companies make accessories like this extra $. There are no other zipper pockets or other easy-to-reach pouches in the stroller for keys, a cell phone, or drinks for the "stroller driver." The pouches behind the stroller seatbacks are net and are good for lightweight things, but you will probably wish you had a drink holder if you don't get this or at least some other universal one as suggested in other stroller reviews. It's essential.
Quality: I was worried the flexible material would be flimsy and strange but, now that I've used it, I understand the design. The cup holders contain 3/4 of the height of a 20oz water bottle, making it SECURE FOR RUNNING. Because it's vinyl, it bounces along with the stroller amd you won't hear annoying clicking or banging. You also don't want a lot of weight on the handlebars of a jogger (they tip backwards), which is why I assume it doesn't hold much. However, I haven't wished for more space yet. I'm happy I ordered this at the same time as my stroller (Revolution Duallie).
