Bugaboo Bee Stroller
As the newest addition to the Bugaboo family, the Bugaboo Bee stroller offers the same amazing functionality and style you expect from Bugaboo combined with an exciting new design, making it the most compact Bugaboo stroller on the market. The Bugaboo Bee made its North American debut in September 2007 and has quickly garnered praise from baby product reviewers. For parents who want classic Bugaboo mobility in a sleek, streamlined package, the Bee is the answer.
What sets the Bee apart is its compact design, making it perfect for life on the go. The Bee is the only Bugaboo stroller with a minimal one-piece fold. With an integrated design so nimble it nearly folds on its own, plus a maximum unfolded width of 20 inches and weight of only 17 pounds, the Bee is the lightest and easiest Bugaboo stroller to transport and store. The Bee's folded dimensions with wheels attached are 35" L x 17" W x 12" H, a perfect size for tossing in the back of a taxi or stashing in a closet.
Like its cousins the Frog and the Cameleon, the Bugaboo Bee is an infant-to-toddler stroller, suitable from birth up to 37.5 pounds. For extra comfort, protection, and head support for newborns, the Bugaboo Bee can be outfitted with a Bugaboo Bee Baby Nest (available as an accessory). Inspired by a bee's form, the stroller's hard shell backrest is ventilated with a rib-like design that supports the seat and anchors the adjustable five-point harness, providing for a safe, ergonomic fit. The Bee offers a four-position tilting seat that can be reversed so baby can look at its parents or out at the world. A new feature found only on the Bugaboo Bee is its extendable seat that can be lengthened for a perfect fit as your child grows. Also, beginning in the spring of 2008 Bugaboo will offer a car seat adapter for the Bugaboo Bee to allow select Peg Perego and Graco car seats to click onto the Bee's chassis with or without the seat unit in place.
To streamline without sacrificing signature Bugaboo stroller maneuverability and agility, the Bee includes a unique four-wheel independent suspension system. The Bee's six-inch swivel wheels and foam-filled rubber tires allow for a comfortable, cushioned ride over curbs and other urban obstacles. Thanks to this nimble swivel wheel system and the one-piece handlebar with height adjustment, the Bugaboo Bee stroller offers one-handed steering and 360 degree turns to make navigation effortless and fluid.
In keeping with the Bugaboo tradition of user-friendly design, all of the Bugaboo Bee's functions are controlled by white buttons located on the stroller's frame. In addition to the integrated features, the Bugaboo Bee stroller comes fully loaded with an underseat storage bag that holds 4.2 gallons, water-repellent sun canopy, cocoon shaped rain cover, instructional DVD, and two-year warranty. The Bugaboo Bee's black fabric seat is accented with a sleek sun canopy made of 600-denier fabric in your choice of yellow, red, black, blue, or dark khaki. And because Bugaboo understands new parents want both style and practicality, all Bugaboo fabrics are removable and machine washable.
As with other Bugaboo strollers, your Bugaboo Bee can be outfitted with smart accessories to keep you ready for any climate or condition. The Bugaboo Bee Parasol can be attached to the stroller frame to provide optimal and flexible protection against the sun. The cocoon-shaped Bugaboo Bee Sunshade offers protection against UV-rays, heat, and flying insects, while the Bugaboo Bee Breezy Sun Canopy offers additional ventilation for warm summer days. The Bugaboo Bee Diaper Bag has a changing mat, compartment for diapers, wipes, and other amenities as well as insulated compartments to keep milk bottles warm and a removable compartment for a cell phone. The Bugaboo Bee Baby Nest provides extra comfort and support for newborns, and the Bugaboo Bee Footmuff helps keep your child snug and warm on cold days.
Additional accessories include the Bugaboo Bee Wheeled Board that attaches to the stroller and allows the parent to push along a second child; the Bugaboo Bee Transport Bag, which includes wheels, a shoulder strap, and carry handles to protect your Bugaboo products during transport or air travel; and the Bugaboo Bee Cup Holder that holds drinks for both parent and child. In the spring of 2008, Bugaboo Bee Car Seat Adapters will be available, allowing select Graco and Peg Perego car seats to be attached to the chassis of the Bugaboo Bee stroller to create a travel system.
Bugaboo says their Bee stroller was designed for parents who "live life on the fly" - and we have to agree that its compact frame, nimble maneuverability, and modern style make the Bugaboo Bee an excellent choice for urban environments. By offering superior Bugaboo mobility in a streamlined and efficient design, this relative newcomer promises to be around for years to come. BabyEarth.com offers the Bugaboo Bee stroller and related accessories in several colors options.

The Bugaboo Bee is a compact, lightweight and exceptionally well-designed stroller built to keep baby safe and comfortable on urban adventures. Its reversible ergonomic seat with 5-point harness and height-adjustable backrest and length-adjustable seat accommodates infants and toddlers up to 37.5 pounds. A 3-position recline allows your baby to lean back and relax to his or her liking. This feature is especially useful when your child wants to take a nap while you're on the go.
The compact design of the Bugaboo Bee + emphasizes convenience and portability over the all-terrain capability of the Bugaboo Cameleon. This complete infant to toddler travel system takes some of the most impressive features of the other Bugaboos and puts them in a more compact and lightweight stroller. The 'tight and light' Bugaboo Bee + weighs only 18.5 lbs, making it simple and painless to carry up steps or toss into the trunk of your car. The Bugaboo Bee stroller folds up quickly with just two hands by releasing the fold levers and lifting the stroller. It unfolds with just a kick.
This stroller sticks to Bugaboo's expectations of stellar performance. Its foam filled wheels have their own independent suspension that steer easily even when pushing the device even with only one hand. The height adjustable handlebar and rear parking brake make starting and stopping the Bee easy for mom and dad.
The Bugaboo Bee stroller is convenience, class, and style on four small wheels. Whether it's your only stroller or a 'spare' Bugaboo that you take while you travel, the Bugaboo Bee's small stature, versatility, clean lines, and portability make it a welcome addition to your busy family. The result is a compact, compact and simple to open Bugaboo baby stroller that is ideal for parents on the move.

I got this stroller of a trading site im on as a "party Favor" So luckily I only had to pay for the shipping to get it to me! The one i got had a bent frame :( but bugaboo is sending me a new one in the mail and i should have it tomorrow! the orginal one came w/out the basket too but they sent a new one no questions asked! they have great customer service and were the ones who offered to send me a new stroller. I used it at the fair and pushed all 3 of my kids in it (at differnt times of course) and it pushes like a DREAM! the only problem i could see for this stroller is that the seat is narrow so if you have a "wider" child i would test one of these before making the buy! My 19 lb baby seems to fill it up but then my DD who is 3 and 40lbs fits fine when its facing out. when its facing in the leg support colapses but that might be cuz my stroller is defective?
overall i recomend this over an umbrella stroller and a full size but i wish it at least came with every possible attachment/accessory for the price! the folding and unfolding can be rought at 1st and take 2 people but if u take the time and just do it over and over agian it smoothes out ALOT..but then again my frame is bent so who knows if thats why!
I bought the Bugaboo Bee Stroller for my son and daughter-in-law who expect their first child in October. They live in NYC and believe this stroller is just what they need for walking in the city.
I waited for this stroller to come out simply because I wanted a Bugaboo but not he big heavy take apart stroller just to put n in the trunk of my car. I am very pleased that I waited! This stroller is so easy to manuver that even my 5 year old can help push with no problem. this stroller has a very smooth ride & the suspension is fantastic. I had a frog and gave it away for the bee. Believe it or not I was still able to use the bee in the sand just like the frog. The only downfall to the stroller is putting on the footmuff & reversing the seat. it is very time consuming. I love this stroller it is great for anyone who wants bugaboo quality without the bulkiness!
I started out with a McClaren Techno XT for my son. But as he got older (14 mo) and heavier (26 lbs) it became increasingly harder to steer the stroller with one hand (I wanted to have one hand free for my Starbucks!). With the Bee, I can definitely steer with one hand and navigate the city streets very well. Compared to the other Bugaboo models, I wanted something that folded up small and could fit in the small aisles of the bodegas (not to mention on the subway). The bee does this very well. The con is the price. Other than that, I am very pleased.
Having owned many strollers in the past 6 years (Macs, Pegs, Gracos, Evenflos, Valco, Phil and Teds...) I can say that is one is pretty good.
I sold my Bugaboo Cameleon and bought this stroller. I really liked the Bugaboo quality, but disliked the 2 part fold of my Cameleon.
Some of the things that I liked about the Cameleon are the same on this stroller:
1. The ability to use it as a "snap and go" type stroller with my infant seat.
2. The ability to reverse the child seat.
3. The ease of steering and soft ride.
When buying a stroller, there is always something that has to be compromised. On many Euro strollers it is the cupholder/snack/parent tray issue. Yes, there is a cupholder to buy but it's not as good as a big American Graco stroller's cupholder. But it works just fine. The underseat basket on this stroller (any most Euro strollers) isn't that great, but it does fit more than I thought.
The price on this stroller is a bit high, but the quality is good and I know when I get tired of it, I will get a decent amount back when I sell it.
I just got the Graco Carseat Adapter in and am pleased with it. Now I can snap my carseat in quickly. You can even leave the Bee seat in it too and use the adapter.
