bumGenius Bamboo Fitted Diaper

bumGenius! Bamboo Fitted Diapers are made of bamboo terry inside/out with soakers made of our exclusive Cotton Babies microfiber terry. This ultra-trim fitted diaper has hook & loop closures with cross-over tabs on both sides.

Outer/Inner Content: 80% Bamboo / 20% Polyester, Soaker Content: 80% Polyester, 20% Polyamide.

Sizes:

• XS (Extra-Small) fits from 6-12 pounds. It is intended for a newborn and fits low, below the navel, to keep the umbilical area dry. This diaper is designed to fit during that itty-bitty newborn stage
• S (Small) fits from 8-16 pounds. This diaper is slightly larger with a higher rise than the XS. It is intended for after your baby's umbilical cord has fallen off
• M (Medium) fits from 15 - 22 pounds
• L (Large) fits from 22 - 30 pounds

More About Bamboo:
Bamboo is a naturally occurring fiber. It grows quickly and easily, without the need for pesticides or fertilizers. Bamboo is biodegradable. The fiber has an unrivaled silky texture and readily absorbs moisture. Bamboo fiber has natural antibacterial elements to help fight bacteria growth in your diaper.

Wondering why there is polyester in our bamboo? We added it for durability. Bamboo is an extremely soft fiber and needs a good poly backing to make it durable enough to withstand the requirements of diapering. We have an exclusive source for our fabric who has been making bamboo products for a long time. We were strongly advised not to do 100% bamboo or even a bamboo/cotton combination because the instability of the fibers would cause the fabric to fall apart quickly.

Heather w from Boynton beach,FL              June 22nd, 2009 The bamboo was super soft and wicked moisture amazingly. They do run a bit small though. My 5 month old weighs 19 pounds and wears medium Fuzzi Bunz needed the large bum Genius. I just ordered more of these and would highly suggest them to other cloth diapering moms.

Ara S.              April 20th, 2009 I use this diaper on my 7 month old - a very heavy wetter. It is AMAZING! We use it overnight and he wakes up without any leaks -- a big feat given that he's a co-sleeper who nurses on and off throughout the night. The diaper is super soft and cozy. The only very minor drawback is that it takes a more than 1 round in the dryer to be totally dry. But what would you expect given how well it holds up overnight.
