This is my third child to use cloth diapers and I have used a different version of diaper cover for each child. So far, these are my favorites ever. I have never had a leak beyond discoloration at the seam around the leg. I have had ZERO leaks onto clothing. I have found that using two cloth diapers inside works best. One diaper can move around, causing poop to get on the cover , thus requiring more cover changes. But with two diapers inside, there is much less leaking onto the cover. Following the directions for cleaning is important. I found out (the hard way) about using too much soap does make them pourous, but if you follow the two diaper rule, it doesn't have much of an impact and I can still use the ones that I washed with too much soap.
