Many commercial diaper wipes contain strong chemicals that can be irritating and may contribute to diaper rash & skin damage. California Baby Diaper Area Wash harnesses the powerful anti-fungal properties of organic tea tree oil, and gently cleanses with plant and flower extracts such as calendula, witch hazel, and aloe vera--ingredients known to be safe and gentle on baby's delicate skin.

Our proprietary Calming aromatherapy blend includes French lavender, for its soothing and antibacterial properties. Sporting a custom fine-mist sprayer that allows for directed application--moisten a cotton pad or clean washcloth to gently clean baby's skin with each diaper change, or spray directly onto skin. Our Diaper Area Wash may be used full strength or diluted: use a ratio of 10 parts distilled water to 1 part Diaper Area Wash.

I bought this as a precautionary measure since my baby is almost 7 months old and he's about to teeth soon (biting on everything within his reach). It smells good and definitely gets rid of the poop smell from my baby's butt but he hasn't had any real diaper rash to know if it works soothing the discomfort or not. will review this product again once I can truly test it (although I hope my baby never gets diaper rash...so far so good).

I've used this product for over three years now and I love it. Originally I started using it because my baby would have a messy poop and, despite my efforts to get her bottom area clean with wipes, it would still smell poopy. I'd spray Diaper Area Wash over her bottom area, do another quick wipe, and the poopy smell was gone. After I went through my first bottle, I attempted to find this product at local stores and was unable so I tried to find a comparable product. No luck. Nothing else was as easy to use, pleasant-smelling, or effective without being irritating. (I also love that it doesn't have potentially harmful chemical ingredients.) I still use it on my three-year-old daughter to "freshen up" her bottom on non-bath days, and I just bought another bottle in preparation for our second baby.
