The Cariboo Gentle Motions Bassinet is as innovative as it is stylish. The bassinet hangs from a folding stand which allows parents to easily rock babies back to sleep. The Gentle Motions bassinet also rocks gently according to baby's own movement. The straps can be adjusted so colicky babies can sleep with their heads elevated. For parents transitioning their baby out of the bassinet into a crib, the bassinet can be removed from the folding stand and attached to the rails of a crib for an easier move into the nursery. The bassinet fabric zips off and is machine washable for easy care and cleaning. The Gentle Motions Bassinet is also environmentally friendly, made from sustainable New Zealand Radiata wood. The bassinet board supporting the mattress is made from "e-zero board," providing 0% formaldehyde emissions.

Kate              November 17th, 2009 We bought this bassinet b/c we thought we wanted the rocking capability. When it arrived I was so disappointed to see that the bassinet hung from the frame on cheap looking nylon/plastic straps rather than the fabric/brass shown in the picture. It is not babyearth's fault as the Cariboo website does not have an accurate picture. Babyearth took ours back and we got the Cariboo folding bassinet instead which we love and looks great.

sandra ware              August 4th, 2008 Hi, I purchased this for my daughter's baby shower, and ordered the canopy, as well. It was easily assembled, seems very functional and was attractive and appealing to all the shower attendees. My daughter is thrilled with it. It really looks sweet in the parent's bedroom and doesn't take up much space. The baby hasn't arrived, yet, but we are happily waiting--just a few weeks to go.
