Caddy Hook-On High Chair

Our 7 month old is now manageable to eat out with. Prior to receiving this chair she would no longer sit in her carseat during meals and the resturant high chairs were too big and uncomfortable. This chair is comfortable for her and much more sanitary as well. With a few toys she is able to now make it through dinner which is a win for Mom and Dad.

We started researching hook on high chairs after using one in a tiny restaurant in Hawaii. We wanted something similar - folded flat for storage when we traveled, had a washable cover and straps, and had a high enough weight limit that it would last a good long time. We bought this chair and love it! Our old Fisher Price chair was hard plastic with a detachable tray and required a dedicated dining chair to be strapped to, eliminating using that chair for guests. That chair also required the rather tedious task of unthreading the straps when the chair needed to be cleaned and then all of the pieces, base, straps, and tray had to be handwashed. With this chair, none of that! We just unsnap a couple of snaps and toss in the washer! We also have an extra chair for dinner guests and our little guy gets to sit at table level with us, which he thoroughly enjoys, vs sitting almost a foot lower with our FP chair! Already recommending it to our friends!

We bought one off of a recommendation of some friends and we are very satisfied.

Pros
- Attaches to most tables quickly and easily
- Easy to clean
- Small profile
- Brings child to table with everyone else

Cons
- Heavier than expected, but as a result seems very sturdy
- Release triggers can be tough to disengage

We would certainly recommend to others.

This product has worked wonderful for me until I washed it. I washed it in cold water and dryed it on low. Putting it back on was a real challenge and now it seems not to fit right. I have been trying to find a new seat but I havn't been able to find it separately without having to buy a whole new seat.

It was completely sturdy and great until it shrunk. I recommend not washing it but with a little one, I am sure you know that seems a bit unrealistic not to be able to wash it. It is going to get filthy since they are learning to eat for the first time.
