I bought this backpack as an alternative to using a stroller. My daughter (15 mos) isn't a huge stroller fan, and I thought she'd enjoy the perspective of being up high in the backpack. I've used this product several times at home, and I've recently took it on a vacation to the beach. Just yesterday, I wore it for two hours while shopping. My daughter never complains when she's in the backpack... she loves it! She can see everything and is up out of harm's way. It is quite easy to set up using the kickstand and get her on my back by myself. This product folds up pretty compactly, so I keep it in my trunk without a problem. The backpack has a small profile in the back, so you don't have to worry about bumping into things in stores. My only complaint, like other reviewers, is that the shoulder straps don't get quite tight enough for me. After an hour or so of wear, I find myself pulling at the straps a little to find a comfortable spot on my shoulders. However, I would still recommend this product to anyone. It is great to have a hands-free way to carry her that is safe and easy to use.
