The name CoCaLo is a nod to the inspiration for the company - Renee's two daughters Courtenay and Catherine Lowe. (K.I.D.S.) which is a global charity comprised of leading retailers, manufacturers and licensors of children's products. Renee Pepys Lowe serves on the K.I.D.S. Executive Committee and Board of Directors and since 1985 K.I.D.S. has distributed over a half billion dollars of new merchandise to children in need.
