The B540 is the only booster that has a back support that stays fully enclosed as the height is adjusted. This means side support and protection in every position.

The six-position height adjust will grow with your child. Designed for children up to 100 lbs and 57", it has a very wide seat to really fit larger, older children. And, despite its large accommodation, the B540 has narrow bottom rails to allow fit into even small bucket seats. It feels very substantial compared to others but weighs less than 10 lbs! The long search for an affordable and safe booster seat has come to an end for us!

We purchased the B540 in daisy print for our 5 year old daughter who loves the seat! The arm rests swivel up or down which makes buckling up so much easier! The head support is more than enough and the fabric is soft and ample.

After researching multiple booster seats, we choose the B540 due to the high ratings and the four star rating from the national highway and trasportaion website.

Thank you Compass for making a safe and affordable booster seat!

We love the moveable armrests which makes it easier for our child to get in & out of the booster seat. The head support makes him more comfortable when he falls asleep in the car. We are very happy with this booster seat.

We purchased the Compass B540 (Daisy) for our 5 year old daughter to take with us on a trip. It folds and unfolds easily and is light-weight and easy to carry. We checked it as baggage on the flight and it made it through baggage handling just fine. God-send to have it with us because I don't think the car rental had any spares. Installs very easily. The placement of the seatbelt around the seat is obvious, but you have diagrams and directions just in case.

This is our first booster, and we're just starting to use this one. Will see how the booster grows as our child grows. She is almost 5-3/4 years old, but is only around 35 pounds. Still rides in her carseat, but we will make the transition to full-time booster seat use soon.

As far as comfort goes, our daughter had no complaints. The arm rests worked for her, as did the wings around the head, and the seat has plenty cushioning. She even dozed off a few times while we were driving from one place to another, with her head sagging slightly to either side. The booster was in a Dodge Caravan (mini-van) during this trip, but will find its permanent spot in our Honda Accord and Toyota Highlander.

Yes - we do intend to purchase another.

Overall, seat appears sturdy, we know it's comfortable from our daughter's point-of-view, and I believe as she grows taller, the seat will adjust well to accommodate her.

After reading many many reviews, I finally decided to purchase this booster for my twin 4 year old girls. They love it, because of the pink. I love it, because of the comfy feel/look and that they are able to unbuckle themselves.

This is a very nice seat, will be good for the length of time my daughter will need to use it. Quality made. My only regret is that it does not recline. I don't anticipate this being a problem.

My 3 year old son loves his new "big boy" seat! He especially likes that he gets to use the seat belt like mommy and daddy. The seat is very comfortable and easy to use. I researched and tested out many seats before deciding on this one. We have two, one for each of our vehicles.
