Submitted By: Ali from Los Angeles, CA   Date: 01/14/2009 My parents purchased the Da Vinci Alpha Crib for us for Christmas and it arrived in about a week (no missing parts, no damage). I was able to assemble most of it by myself; my husband helped me add the drop side, which was difficult for me to do on my own. I am giving this crib 4 stars since I have not had the chance to use it yet.

When it arrived there wasnt a scratch on it, and all of the parts were with it. I was able to assemble the crib in about an hour with the supplied allen wrench and a screwdriver. We love the crib and I would highly recommend this crib to any potential buyers

Submitted By: Anna from Arizona   Date: 08/06/2008 I bought this crib for my 3 month old- outgrew the bassinet. I put it together by myself. You just need a phillips head screw driver. The only part that was difficult was attaching the metal part that the mattress sits on. It would've been easier if someone was there to hold it straight. I got the natural finish. It seems to be very good quality pine wood. No knots or brown places. I like that the side rails have teething guards already built in. This website had the crib for cheaper than anywhere else. It came well packaged and fast. The instructions were easy to read and understand. We bought a standard sized mattress and it fits nice and snuggly. My baby is a wiggler. He spins around and kicks the sides. The whole crib seems solid. I haven't had any problems with the sliding side rail snapping loudly but I did read that in other reviews. Overall, this is a great crib for the price ($179 shipped) and I didn't have to go pick it up. My son seems to like it too. He sleeps longer in his "big boy bed". It's only been a month but I have no complaints!
