Emily Mini Crib

We bought this crib for our soon-to-be second son. Rather than set up a second nursery... we've opted just to have him co-sleeping near us in our bedroom (since we're just now transitioning our 14 month old to the crib in his room. This crib is nicely made and a perfect size for our bedroom. The crib was relatively easy to put together. My only complaint is that it did have a few dings here and there... surprising considering how nicely it came packaged. But it's a baby crib... and dings are going to happen eventually.

We live in a very small home and are sharing our bedroom with baby. We really needed something small enough to fit in the limited space but large enough to sleep baby as he grows. This crib is a great solution. It is sturdy, attractive, and easy to assemble. A bit tricky to find the correct size mattress and sheets, but we wanted all organic. You'll need size 24x38, which is a bit different from the standard porta-crib size. The "organic" mattress advertised for this crib is coated in polyethylene, and the "organic" linen set has polyester in the bumper and comforter, so if you are looking for all natural materials you'll have to look around. Pure-Rest Organics makes a nice organic wool/latex mattress that fits perfectly.
