I had always heard horror stories about sore nipples, so with my first child I was careful to use this from the very beginning, and I have never once had a problem.

I was using the typical lanolin treatment when I developed fairly significant scabs on both nipples. The lanolin caused the scabs to stick to the breast pads I was using so I had to find an alternative. This is the stuff that worked for me. It is at least as soothing as the lanolin and it never caused my nipples or scabs to stick to anything. I've been throwing jars in with every shower gift I give these days.

A friend bought me the Natural Nipple Butter while I was nursing/pumping and it helped tremendously with soreness and dryness. I loved it so much that I recently purchased one for a friend. I am breastfeeding my first child and have been very happy with my purchase of this product. Any hint of soreness dissipates quickly once this product is applied, promoting a speedy healing process. It is a light texture, far lighter and less sticky than lanolin. Natural Nipple Butter is a product that I will definately recommend to other nursing mothers.

This is the third child I have breastfed and the only one I used this product with. All 3 times I would get very sore, cracked nipples. But I used Natural Nipple Butter for my 3rd baby and it was amazing how quickly it healed and made it bearable to nurse.
