Submitted By: Caren from Round Rock, TX   Date: 08/28/2008 I got the ERGO in Cranberry, and I love it. I work on my feet all day and I like to bring my baby to work with me when I can. I put her in the ERGO and I can work hands free while she naps on my back. It is comfortable and secure. It's been over a week and I am not sore at all.

Submitted By: R Traish from Fairfax, VA   Date: 08/01/2008 We purchased the baby carrier at the recommendation of a local baby boutique shop owner. It is very difficult to adjust and put the baby in especially by myself. You cannot position the baby facing forward when the baby is on your chest and mine has to be able to see out at what all is going on. Once it is in place and adjusted correctly it is comfortable but all in all we were very disappointed.

Submitted By: Colleen   Date: 07/30/2008 I love this carrier and so does my 5-month-old baby. I especially love the hood feature; it allows him to fall asleep more easily and stay asleep longer. It is very convenient and comfortable. I wore it through two airports without any discomfort. It is easy to put on and slip your baby into comfortably. I have a Moby wrap, which I love, but it can be awkward to put on in public places like parking lots, stores, airports, etc. The Ergo has made errand-running and traveling much easier! My only suggestion would be a carrier that could also allow the baby to face forward. Other than that, this is a wonderful carrier! Well worth the money.

Submitted By: J   Date: 07/25/2008 I purchased the ERGO carrier because my little boy had outgrown the Baby Bjorn. The carrier was a big disappointment. It was made very well, however, it was extremely hard to put the baby in by myself. I am sure with a little more practice, I could have got the hang of it, but it was definitely hard to put him in there by myself.

Submitted By: Kealani from Kihei, HI   Date: 07/16/2008 I had purchased a Baby Bjorn Air Carrier before my daughter was born. I chose the Air Carrier because I live in Hawaii, where we always have 80 degree temperatures. It worked out well in the beginning, but we noticed that long periods of wearing the carrier really strained our shoulders and back. Now that my daughter is 15 pounds, the carrier is unbearable to wear. I couldn't turn my head to the right for a week, because of the strain that it caused! So after seeing my friends with their Ergo baby carriers, decided to make the purchase. All I can say is that I wished that I had bought it back when my baby was first born! And now, it is wonderful to be able to wear her on my back while I make dinner, without her hands getting into it, especially when she refuses to be anywhere but ON me! The heat created between our skin sometimes creates an issue, but is quickly solved with a cool pack wrapped in a towel, placed between us! The sleeping/sun/rain/privacy hood is also a fantastic feature the others do not offer. Love it, and definitely recommend it!

Submitted By: Amy from Oxford, MS   Date: 07/16/2008 I had a baby bjorn carrier and my back would start to hurt very quickly. Now with my Ergo carrier, I can carry my daughter for hours and not get tired. The neatest part is my daughter, five months, is instantly calmed when she goes into the carrier. We both enjoy this carrier.

Submitted By: Brenda from APO AP   Date: 07/10/2008 Highly Highly recommended!!! With 3 children ages 8 to 1, owning several carriers including Snuglie front pack, Baby Bjorn, Nojo sling, Maya wrap, Evenflo trailtech (old model and new model), and Premaxx sling type carrier, this is the best thing I have EVER bought! I wish I would have been able to get one when my 8 yr old was a baby!!! Not only is it the most comfortable carrier I have ever worn, it doesnt make my back hurt- and I have arthritis all the way down my back. If I get a bit strained after awhile, I can easily switch him to another position. Not only can I carry my 1 yr old with no problems, I can carry my 2 yr old in it and my back is still great. It is so versatile, from infant to toddler to 40lbs. My sons legs dont get their circulation cut off (which it can in other carriers) his head is supported with the help of that neat little pack away cover. I have told so many Moms and soon-to-be Moms about this Ergo... Almost all Moms agree, that for some reason we cant explain, this is just THE BEST, most COMFORTABLE, STRESS-FREE carrier ever made. One little side note which event he makers say: It does take a couple times to get used to it because it is a bit different. But different is just that- but an absolutely wonderful difference!

Submitted By: judy from pasadena, md   Date: 05/21/2008 I bought this carrier to tote around my 8 month old son. Come to find out, my 2 year old likes it too. This is the most comfortable yet sturdy carrier I've ever used. The mei tai always felt like the baby could slip out. The bjorn was very restrictive and I didn't like how baby dangled in it. I love the versatility of this carrier as well. front, back, hip carry.. Great product!

Submitted By: A.Valdez from texas   Date: 04/18/2008 I bought the ergo baby carrier and infant insert for my daughter, who has a one month old baby. She absolutely loves it. She is able to move around the house and do most of her housework. I think the baby loves it too being so close to mom. My daughter says it is easier on her back and loves to take it when she goes shopping. It's well made and very easy to use. For me being a grandma, the ergo carrier was one of the best investments we made.

Submitted By: Jessica from TX   Date: 03/28/2008 I am a petite mom with a very healthy (read BIG) baby boy and I have struggled to find a carrier that fits comfortably and doesn't give me a backache, shoulder ache or any other aches. I tried slings and other name brand carriers that all were difficult to put on and gave me terrible upper and lower backaches. This carrier is wonderful...the answer to my prayers. I can get it on with my son in a front carry very quickly and easily. It does take some effort to get him switched to a back carry but surely it will get easier with more practice. There is also a hip carry option which I have tried a few times but we still work well together in a front carry. I have absolutely NO pain while carrying my son for extended periods and NO pain when I take it off. My son weighs about 25lbs and I am almost 100lbs...I couldn't live without this carrier. He walks now but we still use the Ergo Carrier several times a week during shopping trips and we both are comfortable while using it. I truly cannot say enough about this carrier...it costs less than some of the others that don't work nearly as well.

Submitted By: T from Connecticut   Date: 01/31/2008 I absolutely LOVE my Ergo! My daughter is 16 months and I still use my Ergo every day (use instead of a stroller or a grocery cart seat and often as a way to calm down before bed). The carrier is very well constructed and easy to use although it takes some practice getting the child on your back. I am a petite person and have no trouble carrying my daughter. I plan on carrying her as long as she is compliant!
My daughter doesn't chew on the straps much anymore, but I wish I had known about the sucking pads several months ago. The attachable back pack also looks like a great addition, which I hope to check out.
