The Zen Gliding Bassinet is the cornerstone to our Zen Collection. The main feature to this bassinet is the smooth gliding motion that comes from our soothing motions glider. It is on a variable speed control knob so that you can customize the baby's experience. The contemporary look is captured with the use of rectangular tubing for the frame, wooden accents and premium soft goods within the bedding and the basket, as well as a sheer canopy. A large tray area is located below which gives mom an additional place for baby supplies. There are two wheels to allow the bassinet to be moved from room to room. A great array of sounds, including 16 songs, and multiple sound effects including music, nature sounds and simulated sounds from the womb calm and soothe baby. First of all, the gliding mechanism was really loud to the point that it interfered with the music and the sound of the "heartbeat". Also, the bassinet itself is really small and my baby could just about fit into it. It would not be able to last him for more than another month or so. And last, but not least, we ended up paying a rediculous amount for shipping - over $50 to send it back. I don't reccomend ordering this item unless you've seen it at the store first.

I assembled it myself at eight months pregnant and it is very sturdy. I wish it were a little larger to use past the first few months but its still well worth it. Also after shopping around i have found the zen collection to be the least expensive on babyearth.com
