Submitted By: LB from Florida   Date: 07/18/2008 I was looking for a bowl or plate that had a suction cup on the bottom to avoid being thrown on the floor. My grand-daughter is 12 months old, loves to feed herself with finger foods, but is just learning to use a spoon and bowl. This bowl has a detachable suction ring that is difficult to put on and doesn't stay. When attached correctly, it has a very weak suction. The baby easily lifts it up and tosses it. Also, the spoon and fork included is for a much older child. I wouldn't give it to her until she is about 3 years old. It looks too sharp and dangerous.
