Louise Love from Boulder, Colorado December 7th, 2009 This highchair is a lovely and solid monument to real wood, but time-consuming to put together. First of all, putting it together did go smoothly, but did take a 91 year old retired tool and die maker friend with Parkinsonian hands and me almost 2 hours to get it together. He told me what to do and since his hands were shaky, I did the work screwing, etc. However, how to fit the part that slips into the top for a tray was almost our Waterloo, but we got there in time for Thanksgiving! The baby Sophia, who has been a sleepless screamer who always wants her mother, suddenly sat up like a queen of all she surveyed, looked happily around 360 degrees and studied the horizon, then for 35 minutes at least played intently with her toys on this wonderful sold, splayed-leg, safe, real wood chair. At one point in Thanksgiving dinner my grown children, who have spent 7 months without sleep, looked at Sophia's contentment and happiness across the room as she totally played and concentrated on her own thing like a big girl, and my kids finally had some time to hold hands and smile at each other like free young lovers. I thank you for the lovely Graco high chair, and I thank me and my elderly friend for our putting it together!
