Five weekly classes are held for a total of 15 hours of instruction. Dates include: 5/17, 5/24, 5/31, 6/7 and 6/14. This allows adequate time to practice and master the concepts. Weekly goals are set by each participant. Challenges and successes are shared in a warm supportive environment.

Eliminate arguing, scolding and yelling and threatening
Feel positive about your parenting skills
Create more time for yourself
Skills to promote agreement instead of fighting
Get on the same “parenting page” with your spouse

The Signing Connection – Baby Sign & Play @ BabyEarth Round Rock Store

Baby Sign & Play is designed for children ages 0-3.
Classes are scheduled every week:
- Tuesday at 2:30PM & 3:30PM
- Thursday at 9:30AM
- Saturday at 9:30AM

Parent and child participants. $7 per class, drop ins welcome! Buy a block of 4 classes for a discount! Payable directly to Amy, the instructor.

Course Objectives:
Baby Sign & Play Classes provide an interactive learning session for child and parent to begin the path to learn basic sign language communication skills. Research has shown how pre-verbal children, who learn ASL, have reduced frustration and stress by being able to convey their needs and feelings. Learning Sign Language is a fun way for the whole family to learn a second language.

Course Structure:
Class begins with a Welcome Song. We will introduce the words for the week and use them in finger plays and songs. In the middle of class a short “free play” time will be available for children to explore items used to reinforce our new signs and for parents to interact with them. We may also use CD songs and possible clips from the Signing Time series to reinforce the daily theme. Class will end with a Goodbye song. Tips, resources and suggested materials will be available in class.

Baby Play Group @ BabyEarth Round Rock Store

Join us every Monday at 3:30pm for Baby Play Group!  We sing songs, play with musical instruments and let babies have lots of interactive, social, free-play time.  Since this class is designed for our smallest of customers to socialize, we encourage families with non-mobile, crawling and/or cruising babies to attend.  Older children are welcome to attend our free-time play, dance, music and story time classes.

Breastfeeding Basics @ BabyEarth Round Rock Store

This one-session introduction to breastfeeding focuses on techniques for initiating nursing during the early weeks with your newborn and maintaining a successful breastfeeding experience.

Space is limited to 10 and costs $20/Couple. Dad or other support person strongly encouraged to attend. RSVP at [email protected]

Breastfeeding is a great way to feed your baby, but how to breastfeed can sometimes be overwhelming. How can you get the information you need to know to have a successful, pleasant experience with your baby? We will walk through all the steps you can take to achieve a successful breastfeeding experience.

Breastfeeding is also very natural, but there are a lot of things that you still need to pay attention to and figure out like working and breastfeeding, how to choose the right breast pump and when and how to wean. We will include information on breast pumps, where to find lactation support and additional resources.

Breastfeeding Basics Includes:

How breastfeeding works
How to establish a good milk supply
How to get your baby to latch
How to know if your baby is getting enough milk
Positions for breastfeeding
When and where to get help should you need it

Designed to provide children with unique musical experiences, the 30-minute EXPLORE MUSIC class will incorporate group play and interaction, pre-K skills (sharing, following simple directions, attending-to-task, etc.) and dancing/movement to work on gross/fine motor skills.  While music is highly motivating, it can also have a calming and relaxing effect. Bring your little ones in TUESDAY morning for activities that are designed to be success-oriented and make the children feel better about themselves!!  The cost will be $5/child payable directly to the instructor, Rebecca Faulkner.
