Sizing:
Correct sizing for pouch slings is essential for the happiness of both mom/dad and baby.

To measure from shoulder to hip: use a soft tape measure and start at the outer corner of your shoulder and measure diagonally across your body down to your hip bone. The number (in inches) should be in the 20s.

Rebecca from NYC              October 26th, 2009 What Harvey Karp calls the missing fourth trimester is recreated with the hotsling. Not only does my baby feel snug and close to me while being able to look out at the world during baby's wakeful states, but it's also a social magnet for people passing by. I recommend at least a size 3. I'm 5'3" with some pregnancy weight to lose still, and having thrown my hotsling in the dryer (not recommended), it shrunk a bit. I will be purchasing a second hotsling to grow with my baby.

I've worn him all over the house, the grocery store, out to lunch w/ friends, etc. I cant say enough great things about this sling and always get compliments on it.

Cass Powers              June 4th, 2008 I bought this for my daughter. Her baby is almost two weeks' old. She hasn't used it yet because she is afraid her baby will smother. It may be better for a slightly older infant, or one who can hold its head up.
