I have tried just about every baby sling on the market, and what I like the most about this one compared to the others is the ease of use. It isn't one-size-fits-all, but once you get the right size, it is a lot simpler and more portable than some of the other fabric slings.Plus, the organic fabric is really nice, and I've noticed this organic, linen-like stretchy fabric feels more breathable than the non-organic version of the same product. Simple, effective, and comfortable for mom and baby!

My son loves going in the hotsling, but I find it a bit difficult to put on. The material doesn't stretch much and I often have sore shoulders after wearing the sling. Perhaps I am not putting it on right, but it seems to me a product is a bit too complicated if you can watch several instructional videos and still not get it right!

This is the second hotsling I've purchased and now that my baby is old enough to be held in the hip carry I love the pouch style. I found them to be useless for the cradle carry (like in the photo) and to snug for the kangaroo carry but for the on the hip carry they are fantastic. I love that this one is hemp and organic cotton but I'm not in love with the feel of the fabric. It looks alot softer in the photo than it actually is. I thought it was more of a jersey knit but it feels more like a soft denim or twill. Aside from that I would recommend this product to anyone with a baby over 5 months old.

This sling is a great alternative to items such as the Baby Bjorn and similar products. However, we needed more information on the item prior to buying it. I recommend visiting the product website to learn more about the sling and see if it is right for you. Unfortunately, ours is too small for our baby and we'll need to get a larger size.

On the plus side, it's made of Organic, eco-friendly products that minimize the carbon-footprint your child leaves behind while reducing the amount of chemically treated materials such as polyester and bleached cotton that your child would otherwise be exposed to.

We would recommend this item to others.

This is the third Hotsling I have had. I got one as a present and couldn't figure out how to use it...it just felt too uncomfortable. Well, while recently looking for a different kind of carrier, a knowledgeable salesperson suggested a Hotsling and I told her my story...she said it was too small and had me try the next size up and I was IMMEDIATELY in love! The slings are so easy to use. I also have an ERGO baby carrier which I love but with all the buckles, etc. it can be burdensome for a quick trip but is awesome for hiking! The sling is VERY compact...slips on quickly and baby slides right in for a no hands secure ride. Make sure you follow the directions for sizing...it's simple to measure yourself and important to get a correct fit. If you can't measure I would suggest going a size bigger than smaller...too small just doesn't work, whereas a bit big is ok. As I said, I now have 2...one for the car/diaper bag and one for around the house. My little girl loves being so close and I love not having a sore back and shoulders.

Sizing:
Correct sizing for pouch slings is essential for the happiness of both mom/dad and baby.

To measure from shoulder to hip: use a soft tape measure and start at the outer corner of your shoulder and measure diagonally across your body down to your hip bone. The number (in inches) should be in the 20s.
