Submitted By: Michelle Janson from Cibolo, Texas   Date: 06/17/2009 We picked out KidCo Angle-Mount Safeway Gate for our stairs. The way our stairs and the handrails were built, it was tough to mount any other gate: The handrail is low, so we cannot mount a gate underneath the handrail; and the wall angles at the top of the stairs, so any other straight mounted gate wouldn't work. KidCo Angle-Mount certainly provide a very clean and workable solution. We were able to mount the gates to the walls right outside the stairs, and for the past week, the gates held up wonderfully. The only negative is the instructions: We really need clear head to focus! It took us a while to put the gates together, and even longer while to mount the first gate. We didn't make any mistakes. It is just a long process from beginning to end, for us to absolutely make sure the gates were mounted without fault. Now, we cannot imagine living at our new home with these gates!

Submitted By: John Lau from Monterey Park, CA   Date: 06/03/2009 This gate is easy to install. The included paper guides for the mounts work well and the gate swings freely and closes itself. Couldn't ask for more. One suggestion on mounting is to mount the hinge side first. Than mount the top latch. Last, close the gate to mark where the bottom mount on the latch side would end up, since nothing is ever straight and true. That way the gate closes smoothly.

Submitted By: Mr. Yates from GA   Date: 04/15/2009 Since it took some time for the final piece on the gate to arrive, I have not had much time to test it after installation. The box appeared at my door some damaged that the metal parts were exposed. Customer service did send the pieces without any issues. I am not sure if this a problem with Babyearth or their vendors but, I bought it from Babyearth so they get the attention. Maybe it will be such a great gate after a weeks I'll forget everything.
