To stabilize wobbly newborn heads, the lower portion of the head support overlap the body support cushions. The head support adjusts upward as baby grows and it can detach from the body support to be used on its own. With padding only on the sides, not behind baby, the Snuzzler does not interfere with the safety of car seat harnesses. Crash tested for safety and Machine washable for easy care.

This is a wonderful product. Purchased this for my daughters first child. The new baby stays cool and comfortable. And yes, it is washable and reversable. It was by far one of our daughters favorite gifts.

Two-sided Snuzzler is perfect for infants, especially newborns. There's a thick warmer side for the chill of winter and a cooler side for the summer heat. The Snuzzler supports little ones and makes the infant carrier much more comfortable for them. This is a great product!

A must have for any newborn. Purchased for my granddaughter and we are still using it at 3 months. Great support for complete body and awesome for keeping that little head from drooping and rolling. Extended use by using head support without body support. We absolutely could not ride in a carseat without it. I have purchased two additional Snuzzlers for family members who are expecting. When asked "What is it?', I tell them to have it ready for that first ride home from the hospital! A purchase you will not regret!
