I purchased the buggy board to go on my Britax B-Agile. After doing a little research online, I was afraid it might not fit as no one else had left a review for this specific stroller. It fits wonderfully on this stroller. I had to use the extensions for the board so my 3 yr old could stand up straight, but they were easy to install. Follow previous advice when it comes to installing in your home as opposed to out and about. Especially if you're like me and pregnant while doing the install. My 3yo was very excited to try it out and once she figured out what it was for, fell in love with it! I love how easy it is to detach from the stroller! I would hate to have to push a double stroller or sit n go, when my 3 yo likes to be independent most of the time and walk by herself. It takes all of 3 secs to attach and detach it from the stroller and fits in the cargo area underneath the stroller. I can't wait for my little man to arrive, so we can try the entire system out!
My husband and i went back and forth for a long time deciding between sacraficing our much loved buzz for a double stroller...but I am glad we went with the buggy board! Our toddler (almost 3 yrs) loves it! He was a bit scared to stand on it at first but now he cant get enough of it. It is super sturdy and even looks cool!
I used the stroller specific directions on to install the buggy board rather than the directions that came with it. I just played around until I found a fit I like. Make sure you install it at home or somewhere comfortable rather than trying to do it on the fly on your first outing with it.
Easy to assemble/attach. My 3-year old daughter is excited to have a "skateboard" to ride along with her baby brother.
I found it hard to attach (the plastic thingie was quite hard to thread through the connector!). However, once on, it has been great! My 4 year old son LOVES riding on it!, and it's easy for me to push the stroller. I have a MacLaren techno. We live in a small space and I detach the buggy board to fold the stroller and put both in a closet. It's easy to snap off. Very nice for all the city walking we do. Sturdy.
The price is high.
My buggy board is stuck in an odd position because I locked it only my stroller so tight that I can't get it off. But it's still very functional once my son stands on it. Works best with strollers that have an adjustable handle. We have a City Mini made by Baby Jogger and my son has to lean back a bit or his head bonks the handle.
Great product, very sturdy.
I bought this so my 4 year old can ride with her baby sister. It works wonderful. After reading the directions step-by-step, it was pretty easy to put together. There are just a few peices. Once you have the clips secured on the stroller; the board itself is easy to snap on or take off when needed. I have mine on the Britax Vigour stroller.
I have not tried this yet on a full sized stroller. I used it with the Combi Cosmo EX. I had a 2 year old in the stroller and a 5 year old on the board. The handle bar was not long enough to comfortably push the stroller with the board attached. It worked, however, because we were only at Disney for one day...and my stroller was so easy to maneuver ...I could walk more to the side and still push it with one hand. It was easy to hook up to the stroller and I imagine it will work great with a more full sized stoller...to be continued.
