The KiddyGuard Safety Gate Banister Installation Kit allows you to install the KiddyGuard Gate to an existing banister.

Kit works to fit gate to square formed banisters ut to 1.5" wide and round banisters up to 2" in diameter.

Please Note: One kit provides fittings for one side of the gate. When attaching both sides to a banister, 2 kits will be needed.

If you are planning to use the bannister adapter kit, you'll want to first check to make sure your bannisters have enough clearance below (min. 34.5" to the floor) the handrail to mount the Kiddy Guard Gate, otherwise you will not be able to mount the gate as recommended. If you do not have this minimum clearance, I would not recommend using this gate or the adapter kit.
