This is a cute product. It's durable and we haven't had to change the batteries in the year we've had at. When we first got this product, my son was 12 months old and wouldn't part with it. Now he is 2 yrs old and could care less about it. The fun with this product (for DS) is mostly about moving the knob/buttons. The songs, although they are aimed at being educational, I feel they are too advanced for the recommended age bracket (too fast and too many variables). But they are fun to dance to!
