The MAM UltiVent widemouth bottle system is designed to be as close to breast-feeding as possible in a reusable bottle. The orthodontic nipple is made of ultra soft silicone and encourages baby to use a natural suckling action similar to breast-feeding. The UltiVent valve is sensitive enough to ensure baby a constant, air free flow of liquid. Removable bottom makes bottle clean up a snap!

They have to heat my milk in the warmer in the separate medela bottles and then pour it into these to feed my daughter. The bottles are very strong, easy to clean and my daughter hasnt had any issues with gas with them. They are BPA free which is a great too! OVerall they are good bottles if you dont have to use a bottle warmer with them (if you put them in the water the milk leaks out the bottom - and breastmilk is to valuable in my opinion to lose during heating!). Had I known you couldnt heat them in the warmer I probably would not have bought them. It doesnt say that anywhere on the websites, but the box they came in recommends heating them by putting them in a warm glass of water...

Submitted By: Amy from Bend, OR   Date: 07/11/2008 My 7 month old was not happy when I had to switch him from breast to bottle and wasn't adjusting to the nipples from any bottle I tried. After two days using the MAM (BPA-free) bottles with the medium flow nipples he was happy and content. They are easy to assemble and really do allow him to continually suck without being forced to break off of the nipple for a breath. He still burped more than with breastfeeding but was not bothered. I am glad the medium flow nipples came with the bottles b/c they are comparable to fast flow nipples from most other brands. Fast flow nipples would have caused him to choke even though he is a voracious feeder. I will definitely recommend MAM bottles to my friends and purchase more now that I know that they are a great deal!!!

Submitted By: s&s from Hilo, HI   Date: 06/17/2008 Our baby was bottle fed exclusively for 3 months and when we finally began weaning her off the breast the MAMS bottles were the only ones she would take. Unfortunately, the #1 nipples eventually became too slow for her so we ordered the #2 nipples but they are too fast for her. We have had to reintroduce her to a new bottle altogether. The MAMS bottles are so pretty, BPA free and easy to clean but our little one has decided that the 9 oz. bottles with the #2 nipples are not for her.

We tried 4 different kinds: Nuby, Adiri, Breast Flow from First Years, and the MAM. The Adiri and Breast Flow bottles gave him air and made his colic worse (duh), and he wouldn't even touch the Nuby.... He took to the MAM bottles right away and no problems with gas/air since!

Submitted By: Angel   Date: 05/23/2008 I loove my Mam bottles. They're bpa-free, colorful and anti-colic - plus it's a lot cheaper than other bpa-free bottles. Also a great thing about Mam bottles is that you can use Born Free nipples with it, and it doesn't leak! Worth every penny!

My daughter use to use this pacifier so I figured they would be the best ones to use. When she drinks theres little to no bubbles that form or that annoying sound when the air gets in. You do need to make sure all the parts are on good if not it will leak. She had no problems switching bottles. These need to be in stores ASAP!!

Submitted By: Christine   Date: 04/02/2008 Bought for my son, who had started on the Avent bottles, because I wanted to go for a bpa-free bottle. These are wonderful! He had no problem transitioning and I have no problems with leaks, they are also easy to clean and reassemble. The vent system helps ensure he has no gas issues. I think these are the best bpa-free bottles on the market, and are much more reasonably priced than some other brands. I just wish they were not so hard to get a hold of.

Awesome they are BPA free! Now I have to order slow flow nipples for the bottles. List on your websites that the nipples are medium flow please.
