I thought they were too small, way smaller than I expected. I would prefer a bigger block that is not as easily stepped on, hurting bare feet. I didnt even open the package once I saw the tiny size. I am a fan of Melissa & Doug toys, however these were a disappointment.

A blast from the past returns ~ alpha blocks! We are enjoying them with our 18 month old daughter. They will be wonderful tools in learning the alphabet, colors, numbers and pictures. I was concerned a little about their size at first, as they are smaller than the block when I was young, but they are just fine. Love the cart - great for transporting and storing the blocks.
