Donna from Flower Mound, TX September 28th, 2009 The game arrived in perfect condition. It seems like quality materials. Very visually appealing. And it arrived sooner than expected.
This is more than just a preschool game. My Mother has early severe Alzheimer's Disease, as well as other problems that really limit her ability to play cards or dominoes. The nurse at the Alzheimer's Residence suggested Candy Land and Chutes and Ladders because it will still provide cognitive stimulation by having to count and move the marker, as well as keeping active the ability she still has to interpret pictures and read simple game directions on the board.
Our family has always been game players, so it's keeping memories alive as well as slowing down the progression of Alzheimer's Disease in specific areas of the game.
