The Safe-Lok's patented Trap-Slot design helps to protect children two ways. First, it allows a cabinet door or drawer to open only approximately 1". Then, it locks in place so your child's fingers can't be pinched by the reclosing door, while it remains easy for an adult to release.

The new quick disable feature gives you the option of installing the latch in a mounting bracket rather than directly to the door or drawer. This bracket allows the latch to be removed, letting an adult temporarily disable the locking function for easy access to drawers and cabinets when needed!

Just what we needed! Better than regular spring latches... and easier to install than Tot-Locks. I don't have to worry about pinched fingers, and I can disable the lock if I'm working in the kitchen while baby is sleeping. And at a great price, too. I scoured the internet for the best price, and this was it!
