Naturepedic Organic Cotton Bassinet Mattress

I mulled over the decision to buy an organic crib mattress and this organic bassinet mattress for our first baby. When I finally got my perspective straight and looked at the many things I "waste" money on for my wife and self, I couldn't believe I was even considering not buying this for our baby. With all the chemicals that are in just about everything around us these days, I couldn't stand the thought of our son being surrounded by chemicals while he's sleeping. Before you write off organic things as being too expensive, consider the possible health expenses throughout your child's formative years if they're exposed to the many unhealthy, synthetic chemicals in the products we buy for them. All in all, the mattress is well constructed, very comfy feeling, yet sturdy and has no off-putting odors that sometimes come with organic items. It's also naturally waterproof! Great product and reasonable shipping time at cheapest rate.

I bought this for my new grandbaby. It fits perfectly into the cradle which I used for my own babies. It replaces the old foam rubber pad that I used 33 years ago. My daughter loves having the peace of mind that something clean and safe will be supporting her baby in the first months of life.

I am so relieved that I could get an organic mattress for my newborn's bassenet. It is an added expense but it is worth it to give me the added assurance that I am doing whatever is possible to keep my baby safer from SIDS.
