Submitted By: S & A & Baby Makes 3... or 4 from Rockville, MD   Date: 10/17/2008 I did a great deal of research on the Amby Baby Sleeper Hammock and found the version now made by Arm's Reach, the Co-Sleeper Cocoon, made of natural hemp to be ideal. The conditions of a hammock naturally recreate the womb -- gentle movement, close swaddle-effect without risking SIDS, etc. Restless sleepers and infants with acid reflux sleep longer and better in hammocks. It's actually safer and healthier all around. Not only is it great bedside, but it's a wonderful non-mechanized replacement for a traditional baby swing downstairs during the day. Anyway, I was thrilled with the hammock co-sleeper, but not at all with the vinyl mattress provided. Who wants vinyl off-gassing?! I had to replace it with a properly safe fitting organic alternative. Again, after a lot of searching and trials, I found just what I needed on Baby Earth, and did not have to settle. The flat Naturepedic Organic Changing Table Pad is practically a custom fit without the custom price! And the Naturepedic Organic Fitted Bassinett Sheet is a perfect fit sheet! Ta-da! It looks lovely, not like a substitute. Best of all, we've assured it's now even safer!

Submitted By: Elizabeth from Kansas   Date: 10/12/2008 I bought this as a mattress for our oddly shaped cradle. It works great. It seems thicker than the 1 inch description indicates. My only complaint is that there is a thick edging around it that makes the fit a little difficult.
