We bought this mobile to replace the one we got as a gift for our first son. The deep sea & diver theme is great and the plush dolls are hung in a way that "faces" the child--which we liked. That way the child is seeing the dolls from their point of view of lying down and not from a underside view. The one flaw is the pole and fastening system--it seems to only fit a specific type of crib rail and is not conducive to securing on changing tables (which is where we use it most) or to any cribs that might have thicker rails or atypical designs. We just got creative with how we, in the end, fastened the mobile because we find that our 2nd son really connects with the sea characters--definitely helps with changing those non-stop diapers! Worth buying, just hope the company designs a more flexible/universal fastening system.
