It protects the stroller from the not so gentle handling at the airports, and it also lets you check in your stroller as a regular bag in stead of oversize luggage. It has a snug fit, and I agree with other reviewers that it is a good idea to practise putting the stroller in the bag BEFORE you go to the airport. I also had to take off the plastic guards on the wheels in order to fit the stroller in the bag.

Submitted By: Mike from UK   Date: 09/03/2008 Were trying to fit our Phil and Teds push chair into the bag right now. Its driving me mad. There isn't enough room for the chair. Arrgghhh! And the picture shows the mud guards fitted! No way!

Submitted By: Sarah from Virginia   Date: 05/30/2008 We found this bag hard to figure out--it took my husband about an hour to get the stroller packed the first time, but repacking it at the end of the trip was relatively easy once we got it all figured out. I will say that it JUST fits in the bag, so if you were planning to try and squeeze other things into the bag (like stroller accessories or toys) there likely isn't enough room. Also, we didn't have the front wheel correctly positioned, and because of this it ripped through the bag the first time we used it. This was our fault, but dissapointing that it tore so easily. Unfortunately, there aren't many alternatives if you need to fly with your Phil & Ted, but I certainly wouldn't go to all the trouble of getting it into this (sub par) bag unless I was flying.
