Akasha October 1st, 2009 I just received this xylophone and am totally disappointed. I was so looking forward to entertaining baby with some sound. Well, baby frowned when I started tapping on the colorful wooden pieces....
Frankly, the sound is just horrid. It's just a mishmash of discordant notes, so if you are expecting a real xylophone with a clear tone, or something one can actually play a tune (or scales) on, this is not the product for you.
However, the item is really lovely and a beautiful wooden piece of workmanship, so I give it 2 stars for quality.
