Submitted By: Allison Ferro   Date: 08/13/2008 I bought this for my one year old hoping she would learn to short shapes. While I love the toy and think it is very well made and this might be a problem with all shape sorters, she figured out right away that because the cover can be taken off so easily, there was no need to short the shapes to put them in the box, she just takes off the cover and puts the blocks in the box. I wish there was a way to secure the cover on the box.
