Sara from CA August 25th, 2010 The walker is great... when our 13-month old uses it. He tends to tire of it in our house because there aren't long distances for him to push and he gets stuck in corners too frequently. When we take it outside and give him the freedom of the driveway, his interest lasts quite a bit longer. It's well-made and we like the adjustable rear wheel.

Faith July 22nd, 2010 I bought this toy for my daughter when she was 10 and 1/2 months because she was cruising but not walking on her own yet. She loved the toy from the moment she set her eyes on it. It is well made and beautiful, and the woodpeckers make an interesting noise which I think teaches babies 'cause and effect'. My daughter started walking 2 weeks later...but still pushes the toy to hear the wood-pecking sound. Love it.

Dorrie from Gladstone January 4th, 2010 OMG, I saw this and had o get if for my little nephew for Christmas. He is only 9 months so is not quite able to walk with it yet by himself. Once I held him up and walked with him behind it, he figure out that he could make noise by moving it so he sat on the floor and pushed it to make the woodpecker peck which made him laugh!!
It looks and feels sturdy. Easy to put together. There is also a knob that you can tighten and it makes the back wheels to be tighter and not move as easily. This will help for when he just starts walking.
The woodpecker noise is cute. We are a big family so use to the noise did not bother us. . . the woodpecker pecks in a tune-rhythem. It is cute.

Kathy Stroup from TN November 25th, 2009 We gave this as a one year gift for our granddaughter and she loves it. She wants to start walking so this is the perfect gift for her to get moving. The parents love it as well. Thank you for the wonderful wooden walker.

Jane Ebihaa from Allamuchy, NJ November 17th, 2009 My 9 month old grandson loves this walker. He took one look at it, latched on and went running with great pride in his accomplishment. It is a beautifully made toy- heirloom quality. My only issues are that one wheel seems to drag and growl and it is heavy enough that an adult must help the child back up and turn around. Since we're grandparents and always on the scene, that's not an issue. Otherwise, it is great. If my grandson were writing the review, it would be 5 stars- no problem.

Mar-y-Sol Salinas from San Antonio, TX October 16th, 2009 I bought this for my son's first birthday, and must say it really is the cutest darn baby walker around! After searching for the perfect baby walker, I knew this was the one. Not only is it cute, but it is beautifully made, and even nicer than the picture. My little guy absolutely loves it, and smiles so big when he makes the woodpeckers peck. I also love that it is very earth friendly! Every baby should have one of these.

Tammy October 15th, 2009 Overall this is a beautiful, well-crafted, heirloom quality toy. It doesn't tip over easily, the bar is at a perfect height, and I like the fact that you can adjust the tension on the wheel. The only thing that is a bit annoying is that my daughter loves to flip the woodpeckers over backwards, which keeps the wheels from turning. Also, it doesn't turn easily (but I'm not sure any of them do) so if you live in a small place like us, you have to follow her around and turn it for her. I'm happy with the purchase and it's so well build that I plan to save it for neices and nephews and maybe even grandchildren.

WT May 22nd, 2009 This is a great walker. The set up was easy, and the walker is very well built and very sturdy. I also like the fact that you can control the speed at which the walker rolls on the floor, which is important if you have a child who likes to charge at full speed. The only detraction from the walker is that it is very hard to turn (which is not a bad thing since you can dictate which direction you go) and as a result, my son typically walks the stroller to the end of the room, stops and starts crawling because he can't get the walker to make a U-turn.

Nancie Way from NY May 18th, 2009 I gave the woodpecker walker to my granddaughter for her 1st birthday and she just loved it!! I'm a bit protective of her but the walker was perfect. It doesn't tip over and she can pull herself up and take off. She loves the sound of the woodpeckers pecking. It was the perfect gift and I'm sure that it will strengthen her little legs. I highly recommend it!! Well built and it took so little time to assemble it! I'm very pleased!!

Art Graves May 8th, 2009 Our daughter was loves it. She uses it inside the house and outside on the sidewalk. We have had it almost a month and she still uses it as much now as when we took it out of the box.
We love that it is a beautiful, clever wooden toy and not some huge piece of plastic.

Mavis Waller December 20th, 2008 This walker is excellent. The penny-farthing design and good weight make it virtually impossible for baby to tip it. The height of the bar is right, and the construction is solid. It's easy to assemble; all you need is a philips screwdriver, and it takes just a few minutes. I love the asymmetry of the colours. The noise of the woodpeckers is perhaps a little loud for timid babies, but can be dampened with 2 circles of felt. My 8 month old son took to it like a duck to water this afternoon and zoomed after those woodpeckers with a huge grin on his face. A great buy, and one you can feel good about too, because it's made by a Green company. If your baby is desperate to get mobile, and your back is sore from bending down to hold baby's hands, this will help.
