Ryan from Milwaukee, WI September 15th, 2009 This toy is both interactive and allows creativity. I'm not sure why the one reviewed scored it low, but, as others have mentioned, it's not just something that you turn on and let them watch. Indeed, my son has just learned that, in order to get the balls to come out again, he has to let them go (as opposed to trying to gather up as many as he can). It has a bright, easy-to-figure out on switch, and is a constant source of amusement.
The balls in it also work with the playset that spins them around - and the figures from that (the trees, etc) can also be set on top of this. Get both!
