I got this potty for my 4 month old daughter because we're doing Elimination Communication and I got tired of holding her over a sink! It took a few times of putting her on it for her to get used to it, but then she took right to it! Even though she can't sit up by herself quite yet, the way this potty is built allows her to sit on it all by herself, and she loves it (way more than the Bumbo, which she's too chubby for). She loves to potty in it as well as just sit and hang out on it. The only reason I give it four stars instead of five is because the "height adjustable" feature is kind of a joke: it's a difference of like an inch, maybe inch and a half. But otherwise I think it's great, and I'm so happy my daughter's first experience with a potty is a good one and will hopefully encourage further potty usage down the road.

Our strong-willed, almost-four year old daughter got too big for the second potty chair we bought for her (she had it for almost a year and used it strictly for her buddies)... Even with the extreme carrot we had dangling as a reward, we were still getting the stiff arm... She gave the pottyPOD a test-sit once out of the box ~ and found it comfortable enough to GO within two days!! I love that she can sit on it for any period of time and not be sore afterward... I love the extra height given ~ much needed and much appreciated!!! It's SO easy to clean and has a wonderfully deep basin!! It's also light enough for her to pick up by herself and move it to wherever she wants to sit on it. With learning a life skill as sensitive as the potty, the right tools are needed to set your little one up for success and this is INDEED a most excellent potty learning tool!!! Knowing what we've been through to finally get to this potty point, we are forever grateful for this inovative potty chair... We also purchased the weePOD so that everything matched for an easier transition (hoping, of course, that she would take to the pottyPOD in the first place)... This product is better than I even expected. There is absolutely no way of it pinching your little ones upper thighs or legs, which I have found to be a problem in the past with some of the cheaper toilet seats. And the seat is so cushy that it makes an adult want to try it out!!! It is perfect for at home or on the go. If you have a mini van it is great to just throw in the back for a road trip if you dont want to have your little ones use the public restroom...and the insert is so easy to remove and clean you can wash it easily just about anywhere.

Also, I fully recommend the weePOD. We use the weePOD at home. It is so easy to take on and off. When on the toilet it fits so snug that it doesn't even wiggle or slide around. These products are great. I have been telling all my friends.
